Tire Spacing and Offset

These calculators will help in determining a given wheels backs pacing, front spacing, or offset. The calculator below will determine the back and front spacing for a given wheel. To determine speed based on tire size visit the gearing calculator.

Rim Width

Offset Back Spacing
Front Spacing

The calculator below will supply an offset based on the type of spacing and the amount of spacing provided.

Offset

The calculator below will determine back and front spacing based on tire section width. Only select this calculator if the tire sticks over the edge of the rim (total rim width, edge to edge, is equal to rim width plus approximately half an inch of lip on each side). Thus when a manufacturer states a rim is 7" wide, it is actually around 8" from edge to edge.
